Arrests Last week saw a total of 20 arrests made across the district for various offences.
Charged We've charged a man after it was reported a person was seen with a firearm at Maresfield services.
Following the report on the evening of Tuesday (January 6), officers, including an armed response, deployed to the area.
Enquiries quickly led to the arrest of a man, and a gas-powered BB gun was also recovered.
The next day, a man from Uckfield was charged with possessing an air weapon in a public place.
He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on February 13.
