VIDEO: Shoreham arson attack captured on CCTV
Police have released CCTV of a deliberate fire at a restaurant in Shoreham in a bid to identify those responsible.
The footage captures the blaze in a bin storage area at the rear of Tosca, in High Street, which occurred in the early hours of 26 March.
Three people are seen to climb onto the roof of the building, before jumping down and entering the bin store and setting fire to it.
A number of items including motorcycles, fridges and furniture – as well as the building itself – were destroyed, causing approximately £26,000 worth of damage.
Anyone who recognises either of the suspects in the footage or has any information about the incident is urged to report it online or via 101, quoting crime reference 47220054271.

Appeal following Southwick burglary
Police have released an image of two men they’d like to speak to as part of an ongoing investigation into a residential burglary in Southwick.
Two men entered the rear garden of a property being developed in Southview Road on Tuesday April 26, at around 7.30am and took three bags full of building materials, the majority being copper pipes before loading them into the back of a removal van and making off along Roman Way. The cost of these materials is estimated to be around £1,000.
Both were described as Asian, of slim to medium build and have dark hair. They were both wearing dark clothing, trainers and yellow, high visibility vests.
Anyone who knows who they are or with any information about the incident is urged to contact police online, or via 101, quoting serial 293 of 26/04.

Renewed appeal to trace man in connection with Southwick assault
Police have renewed an appeal to find Marc Stinton, who is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Southwick.
The incident reportedly started on the eastern side of Southwick Green in the early hours of Sunday 26 September and continued near the junction of Victoria Road and Park Lane.
Officers initially made four arrests in connection with the incident, and they are keen to speak to Stinton, 38, as they believe he has information that could assist with their enquiries. He is known to have links to the local area in Southwick as well as in Lancing and Brighton.
It is believed he may be residing in the Camden area of London.

Grover Avenue, Lancing – between 14th & 15th May, damage was caused to a rear door, believe in an attempt to enter, no entry was made and nothing was stolen. Cad 0333 17/05/22.
Anchor Close, Shoreham-by-sea – between 1230hrs & 1730hrs a white Citroën C3 was stolen. Cad 1184 18/05/22.
Milton Road, Worthing – at approximately midday 19th May, damage was caused to a front door and entry gained. An X-Box and some cash were stolen. Cad 0584 19/05/22.
Lincett Avenue, West Tarring – between 1800hrs 19th May & 0950hrs 20th May, damage was caused to a garage door believe in an attempt to enter, no entry was gained and nothing was stolen. Cad 0346 20/05/22.
Sylvan Road, Sompting – between 14th and 19th May, a Ford transit was stolen. Cad 1038 19/05/22.
Parkside, Shoreham – between 2000hrs 23rd May to 0700hrs 24th May, garage doors were forced open and entry gained, two pedal cycles were stolen. Cad 0221 24/05/22.
South Street, Lancing – at approximately 2210hrs 23rd May, a male was seen trying car doors. Officers attended. No vehicles entered and nothing stolen. Cad 1461 23/05/22.
Martlets Way, Goring – at approximately 0815hrs 24th May, a gas boiler was stolen from a van. Possible CCTV, investigations continue. Cad 0256 24/05/22.
PCSO Street Briefing
