Attempt fraud incident involving Fake Peoples Postcode lottery, 

Fraud nearly caught out an elderly home help customer yesterday. Luckily, her Home Help heard her on the phone and intervened.

The customer received a letter advising that they had won £395,000 on the Postcode Lottery. To claim the money, they needed to transfer £1,800 to the man on the phone and then they would get their winnings but had to keep the news private. The customer had phoned the number on the letter and was just telling him they would go to the bank to organise it when the Home Help stepped in.
